Internet has already surpassed newspapers

internetThe official reading of data from the second wave of 2010 EGM (Estudio General de Medios) said that Internet penetration (measured in daily users) up to 36.8 of the population over 14 years, while of the press down to 38.8, still two points above. It is obvious that those are averages.

If we open the data by age group we find that Internet penetration exceeds the press at all ranges up to 45 years.

Looking at the cumulative audience, the press beats Internet in virtually every cut, even considering the whole population under 65 years. Much more on commercial targets (14-54) and core commercial target (14-44).

But in addition, the Internet also overcomes the press in penetration female audience (31.7 against 31.4) and upper and middle classes.

Twitter already recommends people to follow, “Facebook style”

Twitter already recommends people to follow, "Facebook style"Many Twitter users were surprised to see a box that appeared to offer suggestions of users who follow. These recommendations are based on the people who follow our “Twitter friends,” but we still do not add to the timeline, along with other factors. In other words, it works like recommendations friends / Facebook pages.

Find something positive that these recommendations deal with Facebook is that since Twitter is a social network where it matters most affinity of interests rather than other things (so far), the tendency is to recommend us follow Twitter people related to our interests. It is unlikely that we suggest to follow Askton Kutcher (for an example) only because most of our friends in the Real World does.

Of course we have the option to reject the suggestions if you want. Just press “X” next to each person recommended, and Twitter will not suggest it again. Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the feature itself, so if someone does not want to see the recommendations should reject all recommended twitter … one by one.

This is a small application for Windows Panda once installed on our computers we vaccinate, disabling Autorun.inf of our teams. The program prevents infection of the teams in this way, so even if you connect an infected USB drive on our computer will not let you install anything.

It also includes the option of automatically vaccinate USB drives that connect to your computer. What we gain with this option is not to spread ourselves with our USB virus. It is a question that companies must take special care, since it gives a good picture to go to a customer’s home and leave a virus installed on your computer with your presentation or manual that we have gone through our removable drive.

The program is free but requires registration. Once completed it will send us email we have provided software, which occupies just under 3MB. Installation is very quick and does not interfere with our antivirus installed, since it will only deal with removable devices.

It is a very effective option, which will not consume many resources of our equipment and we will avoid a lot of trouble. It is a good option especially easy because although there are other solutions to many small businesses this will be the best solution.
