A group of professional Spanish wrote a book taking the information about how the style of life of citizens of the European country , taking into account the different points affecting the quality of health as the food , the services and other incentives that have direct influence on the human body .

Through basic and simple questions, the authors of the letter, part of the BBVA Foundation and Hospital Clinic of Barcelona , give readers the chance to feel a baseline about how to care for and what are the best methods to prolong the quality of life in the maximum possible.

Among the data collected most important for the book is noteworthy that 71 percent of respondents felt that their health was good, while among the diseases for which most are consulted about going to the doctor are rheumatic problems, the high cholesterol , the blood pressure and allergies .

In addition, the book’s authors explain that most of the diseases causing the highest mortality in Spain occur due to the bad habits that people possess. Among the major issues related to defects or poor quality of life due to inactivity , the drinking , the smoking , the obesity and failure when planning a nutritious diet .

Finally, it is noteworthy that the authors also explained that environmental degradation coupled with the stress and noise pollution in large cities are risk factors that negatively affect the human body.

The Delegation of Health of Grenada today ordered transfer the relevant information about the measles outbreak in the capital to the Judiciary. The aim is to consider taking additional measures to prevent transmission, the refusal of some parents to vaccinate their children. The first case was detected in the Albaicin school but there are 36 people affected and the virus circulating in the city.

Last week was a warning: if you are not getting the vaccination levels needed to cut the transmission, it would transfer to the courts. They have sent three letters and a burofax parents reiterating the need to vaccinate their children, but because they have not answered, the Junta de Andalucía puts the matter to the attention of a judge.

Hospital Universitario Principe de Asturias, Alcalá de Henares, organized last week a new edition of the Course of Tropical Medicine and International Health, designed to update knowledge on tropical diseases and international health with a multidisciplinary approach, was directed at physicians, nurses and health personnel interested in this type of disease.

This course, which this year celebrates its eighth year, was addressed to health workers interested in diseases of travelers and the immigrant or health cooperation in low-income countries. The second phase of the Comprehensive Plan for Modernization Hospital Reina Sofia has become a heap of broken promises.
